Review: S.H.Figuarts – Kamen Rider Ouja
NOTE: Testing a new style of post here. I realize how much time I waste writing written reviews for products I do video reviews on. I enjoy writing a lot, but it seems like what I’m doing is rather pointless. Let me know in the comments on YouTube or here at my blog/RRR to let me know what you think of the new style. I plan on doing written reviews of things I don’t do videos on, like games, movies, episodes, or just some toys that I feel don’t need a video. Again, please let me know! Thanks for the support.

Ouja is our third retail release in the Kamen Rider Ryuki series of S.H.Figuarts. Unfortunately he’s the first to not come with his Contract Monster, Venosnaker. Granted, this also means he’s cheaper, clocking in at ¥3,000 at retail. While being near identical to the Figma release of Strike, this figure brings all the upgrades that the S.H.Figuarts line has given to these designs. My highest point of the figure has to be the metallic purple used. It’s both decently accurate to the show, and just amazing to see in person. He comes with 12 interchangeable hands, his Sword Vent, the Venovisor, and six Advent Cards (Advent, Sword Vent, Final Vent, Steal Vent, and two blank Contract Cards). While it’s a bummer that he doesn’t come with his Contract Monster, he’s a nice affordable release that looks perfect with Ryuki and Knight. Articulation is top notch as always. His armor might hinder things a tiny bit, the the way the upper portion can move independently of his chest portion makes it so he can still raise his arms pretty straight. Amazingly well engineered. Next up: Kamen Rider Zolda.
