Review: S.H.Figuarts – Kamen Rider Knight Survive
S.H.Figuarts – Kamen Rider Knight Survive
Retail Release – November, 2012 – ¥3,500
SURVIVE! Kamen Rider Knight’s power up form finally makes its way into Kamen Rider Ryuki’s absolutely fantastic S.H.Figuarts line. Knight Survive debuted in November, 2012 at mass retail for ¥3,500. Initially there were a lot of complaints in the fandom about his two cape pieces not plugging in tightly. I’m happy to report that after quite a bit of effort and force, they snap in and create a firm grip with very little to worry about. Knight Survive highest point has to be the paint. Not only is the gold have a wonderful sheen to it, the blue used is absolutely gorgeous. There’s a reason this guy was my top S.H.Figuart of 2012! Knight Survive comes with seven hands, seven Advent Cards, a Tamashii Stage, the Dark Visor Zwei, an extended sword, and four total cape pieces. A pretty standard accessory count, but the quality of this figure more than makes up for any possible count flaws. Tight joints and an amazing paint job make this one of the must have S.H.Figuarts of 2012. Even if you have Knight, or don’t collect the Ryuki S.H.Figuarts, if you have an interest in the character at all, buy it, you won’t be disappointed.
