Review: S.I.C. – Kamen Rider OOO TaJaDol Combo
S.I.C. Vol. 65 – Kamen Rider OOO TaJaDol Combo
Retail Release – December, 2012 – ¥6,500
The next OOO Combo to be released in the S.I.C. line is none other than TaJaDol, OOO’s red combo. It was released through normal retail in December 2012 for ¥6,500. TaToBa was a beautiful figure, and TaJaDol steps it up another notch. While the tri-color scheme is part of TaToBa’s charm, the consistant color of TaJaDol looks gorgeous and really ties the figure together. A lot of the joint problems that plagued TaToBa have been corrected for TaJaDol, but none of the beauty has been sacrificed. The sculpt and paint detailing is downright perfect on a figure like this. Included with TaJaDol are large taloned swappable legs, as well as six translucent wings that can connect to his back for an added effect. Of course it also includes a large number of Core and Cell Medals for the OOO Driver and TaJa Spinner’s compartments. Also included is five additional hands, and a set of three chest components. Why include those? Remember back in TaToBa when I mentioned a swappable parts gimmick? Bingo! Using TaToBa and TaJaDol, you can create new combos like TakaJaBa and TakaToraDol. The S.I.C. line is an aqquired taste that you may or may not enjoy. For the people that do, TaJaDol is a fantastic addition. The inclusion of TaToBa to the line as well means you get even more playability with them. Next for release is PuToTyra, which looks to be another great figure. GataKiriBa, LaTorarTar, SaGohZo, and ShaUTa are exclusive releases, but pick up a few of them for even more swap options. Really glad that feature is included. Definitely recommended for S.I.C. and OOO fans. Beautiful figure.
