Stockpile Sunday Review: S.H.Figuarts – Kamen Rider OOO BuraKaWani Combo
S.H.Figuarts – Kamen Rider OOO BuraKaWani Combo
Tamashii Web Exclusive – November, 2011 – ¥3,360
We knew about BuraKaWani since OOO began thanks to some Japanese people cracking into the OOO Driver’s soundboard. The Medals never appeared in the show, and were pushed aside to be a movie exclusive Combo. Being a movie exclusive, he was shoved to a Tamashii Web Exclusive for his S.H.Figuarts release. BuraKaWani was released in November of 2011 for the then reasonable (now low!) price of ¥3,360. BuraKaWani consisted of the Cobra, Kame (Turtle), and Wani (Alligator) Core Medals and consisted of shades of orange carring the motif of an Indian snake charmer. For accessories, BuraKaWani includes five additional hands, and a put together Turtle Shield that can connect to the arms. Unfortunately he does not include his little flute used in the actual film. For an exclusive, that count is rather abysmal, but BuraKaWani wasn’t in the film or used long enough to really need anything besides the missing flute. He’s a pretty solid figure, with a very armor like design while still saying slim. The joints are fairly tight, unlike some releases for OOO and the detail is spot on as always. BuraKaWani is a combo you either love or hate it seems. If you’re eager to own all the OOO Combos, then this is certainly a must have, and I don’t have any huge faults with the figure besides the small accessory count. If you like the Combo, then go for it, if you don’t, then don’t. Pretty easy to spot on the aftermarket. Moderately recommended.
