Wild Tiger has had a LOT of S.H.Figuarts. I’ve accumulated quite the build up of him, and decided to do it all in one go. The first is Wild Tiger (Masakazu Katsura Original Color Ver.). This one was a pack-in bonus with the “Tiger & Bunny Illustration and Sketches Collection art book that was available in February, 2012 for ¥6,500. Being a pack-in, he only includes two additional hands, an alternate chest piece, and a Tamashii Stage. This Wild Tiger features no sponsors, has the JUMP logo on his chest (the alternate piece has just the logo) and green on his shoulders. This release represents Katsura’s original sketches of Wild Tiger. The second is Wild Tiger 1minute, the design of Wild Tiger from the end of the show. This release was a Tamashii Web Exclusive in May, 2012 for ¥4,410 before fees. This release is near identical of the original, but has painted hands, a larger number of hands, and no Good Luck Mode arm included. It has “1minute. Power to the Future” written on his back. The wire shooters in this release has wires molded in to create better displays with the shooters. A Tamashii Stage is also included. The final release is Wild Tiger -Movie Edition- which was a retail release in October, 2012. This release represents Wild Tiger from “The Beginning” movie The only key difference here is the painted hands and “Family Mart” being on his left shoulder instead of “Softbank”. It features no Good Luck Mode, and the standard wire shooters. A “The Beginning” Tamashii Stage is also included. If you really like Good Luck Mode, then by all means hunt down the original release. If that’s not a factor for you, 1minute and Movie Edition are both great releases that have their own different pros. Wild Tiger is a fantastic mold, even if it’s getting rather old.
