Review: WAP! 11 – Kamen Rider Wizard Infinity Style
WAP! 11 – Kamen Rider Wizard Infinity Style
Retail Release – June, 2013 – ¥2,800
The WAP series (possibly) concludes with the 11th release in the series, Kamen Rider Wizard Infinity Style! Wizard’s final form was released in June, 2013 for ¥2,800. Wizard Infinity has the same points of articulation as all the other WAP releases, with nothing hindering the figure except the long coat. Shoulder pads are attached to the arm, leaving a bit of a gap between the armor and the pad, but that’s the only asthetic downside to the toy. As with the early WAP releases, Infinity features a button on his chest to make his head light up via a bright clear LED. Included with the figure is the Axcalibur, a clear blue WizarSwordGun in Sword Mode (open hand), and a clear blue WizarSwordGun in Gun Mode (open hand). Infinity is a fantastic end to a line of pretty great figures. While the S.H.Figuarts release will more than likely surpass anything this figure has to offer, if you’re on a budget, or a huge fan of the light up gimmick, Infinity is a great pick up. The main action figure lines have tendencies to hit sales or go for a cheaper price on the aftermarket, so tracking this down shouldn’t be too difficult. Definitely recommended.
