Review: Rocket Henkei DX Plezu-Oh (Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger)
Rocket Henkei DX Plezu-Oh
Retail Release – July, 2013 – ¥7,500
The latest and greatest Zyudenryu: Plezuon has arrived as Rocket Henkei DX Plezu-Oh! Plezu-Oh was released in July, 2013 for roughly ¥7,500. Plezuon is Kyoryu Violet’s Zyudenryu partner, and is modeled after a Plesiosaur. Unlike other Zyudenryu, Plezuon has a secondary mode, in which his boat like form folds up to turn into a spaceship. This is incredible. Dismantle the beast and piece him back together to form his robot mode, Plezu-Oh! While the base form of Plezu-Oh has the cannon arm and one normal arm, the cannon can be replaced with a normal arm if you so wish. Finally, Arm Zyudenryu can be placed on Plezu-Oh’s arm sockets to create new combinations as well. Gabutyra and Bunpachy can unite with Plezu-Oh to create Bakuretsu Kyoryuzin! This form is rather large in both height and width, and actually looks way better than I anticipated it being. While the official combination has Bunpachy as an arm (along with the cannon), you can mix and match Zyudenryu if you so wish (Bakuretsu Kyoryuzin Kung-Fu?). So on top of Plezuon’s three awesome modes, you get an added combination with Zyudenryu, and an even bigger combination when Gabutyra is added to the mix. To top it off, you get the Plezuon Zyudenchi, which adds more sounds to the Gaburevolver and Kyoryuzin. If you have any of the Zyudenryu, and even if you don’t, this is a great mecha that not only is a great addition to the set, but is a great stand alone mecha on his own. Very little flaws, and an all around fun toy that every Kyoryuger fan should own. The wait for Bragigas begins.
