The Dino Stunt Bikes are a new take on the traditional Dino Cycle that, instead of splitting apart into two Deinonychus, the Dino Stunt Bikes are one solid piece, featuring a rev up rear wheel that lets the bike race forward and even do wheelies. Each Dino Stunt Bike retails for $14.99 and features a horribly painted and simplified Ranger figure.
My favorite thing about the old Dino Cycles was building a small army of Deinonychus. While you can’t do that with these, the bikes are still rather fun. The rev up feature is something I always enjoyed as a kid, and it works really well here, all things considered. The bikes could stand for a nice helping of paint, but the molded in details are present and look pretty good. The figures, as always, are atrocious, and I’d rather see them gone and have nicer painted bikes, but they are what they are. Off to the tub with ye.
The arm combination with the Dino Charge Megazord is, as you would guess, really stupid. However the Dino Stunt Bikes feature a nice flip top cover that has a peg and clip that can connect to the Dino Charge Megazord’s feet. This gives the giant robot bikes as roller blades, and well, that’s just really neat. Stupid, but neat.
While these aren’t the best in the world, they are quite fun. I’ll miss collecting more dinosaurs though. Thankfully it looks like some more are on the horizon.
