V-Log: I got the right book this time!

My Televikun Magazine with the Televikun Memory is finally here! No sight of the AmiAmi package yet, but I’ll be sure to do an unboxing when it arrives. My trip to Nationals was phenominal, despite the fact that our car broke down on the way there, and we missed pre-registration. Thanks to our friend Pam’s Dad, we were picked up, and arrived there for registration on Friday. Thanks to them, we also had a ride home Sunday. Haha. I did bad in both Nationals, and the Professor Cup, but I got a lot of free packs, met a lot of cool people, and had a great time. I’ll have a full summary video on ShinobiCreative early next week. My Leon Cellular arrived on Saturday, and was here for when I returned. I was a bit impatient, so I went ahead and opened it right away so I could get the review up on Monday. Hope you enjoyed that! For you iPhone users, I highly recommend getting the iPhone 4. It’s my first venture into iPhone-dom, and it’s a great device, and well worth the price. Standing in line for it with my reservation was really fun.

07-02-10 Haul

From Borders:
• Avatar: The Last Airbender – Art from the Animated Series

From Yokatta Shopping Service:
• Televikun June Issue w/ Televikun Sound GaiaMemory

Expect Daigoyou tonight, Mogyuu and Samurai Haoh Saturday. Something MAY go up on Sunday, but Monday begins my Hibiki Week here on my channel, so look forward to that! Stay tuned for more great reviews!

V-Log: Uhh…wut? Also, Ultimate Cuba! I mean Kuuga!

This V-Log almost didn’t go up, due to the huge pause I had while opening the magazine package from Yokatta. However, due to some encouragement from DosmRider, I edited it, and here it is, about as raw as I could make it with it still making sense. What happened was that Yokatta had sent me this magazine instead of the July Issue of Televikun Magazine. I e-mailed her about it, and Televikun was sent out to me a few days ago. Luckily, I got to keep the Ganbaride Fan Book, and I do say it’s awesome. I might flip through it when I review the Televikun Memory. Also being unboxed is my SIC Kiwami Tamashii Zanki, and S.H.Figuarts Kuuga Ultimate Form from CSToys.

06-22-10 Haul

From Yokatta (on accident):
• Ganbaride Fan Book 8 with DVD and Accel Trial Card

From CSToys International:
• S.H.Figuarts – Kuuga Ultimate Form
• SIC Kiwami Tamashii – Zanki

From Target:
• RotF – Voyager Class Mindwipe

From Gamestop:
• PS3 – Transformers: War for Cybertron

War for Cybertron is the best Transformers game to hit gaming since ever. For those of you picking up the PS3 version, add me on PSN for some Multiplayer action. I’ll be getting my iPhone 4 on Thursday, so I may do some mobile updates. I am not sure if I’ll be adding them to ShukuenShinobi or ShinobiCreative, so keep an eye on both channels for updates. Wish me luck!

V-Log: A Heaping Haul of Delightful Disk Animals…

The first part of my Yokatta haul arrived today! I’ve mentioned this haul a few times throughout various V-Logs. In my excitement to open everything and start playing, I got around to photographing everything in this haul, so there is a chance that the Stealth Set and Mini-Eagle will make it’s way to my channel before I leave instead of Daigoyou and Mougyuu. If they aren’t up by the time I leave, expect them first thing when I return! I won’t be reviewing the Koganeokami until I get 01-08 Disk Animals, but as he’s the same mold as the Ruriookami, you’ll be able to check him out during my Steal Set Review. Also, the Mini Asagiwashi is adorable and I love him.

06-21-10 Haul

Like I said in the V-Log, expect G3-X up by tonight, with FangJoker not too far behind. Like I said, there is a chance the Stealth Set will hit before I leave, but it might not, just stay tuned to find out! Expect one more V-Log before I leave, as I suspect my Televikun from Yokatta and my Ultimate Kuuga from CSToys will get here before I leave. Until then, stay tuned, and take care!

Review: S.H.Figuarts – Agito (Flame & Storm Forms)

While these guys are technically my newest Figuarts, particularly in the exclusives catagory, they are chronologically my first.  I had pre-ordered these from EX_Japan at the end of November, back when I was still a newbie in this whole S.H.Figuarts world. It’s almost the end of February and I’m just now getting them because I’m a packrat and built up a 2 month long haul with her.

They’re both pretty neat, but not much of a step up. The red and blue colors used in the chest are vibrant and deep, and as with Trinity, the weapons and new arms are molded spectacularly. The review and photo gallery can do most of the talking, but should these guys ever see a third release (my purchase was the second release), try and pick them up, if just for the sake of having all of Agito’s forms. If you are going to limit yourself to one though, Trinity still holds the prize, as he essentially takes what’s great about the three Agito and combines them. Each Agito here comes with two sets of hands (molester and weapon), and their associated weapon.

Review: S.H.Figuarts – Sieg Imagin

Remember way back when I said that Momotaros and Urataros, despite selling like complete shit, were actually beautifully molded figured and I highly recommend them? Well I think the same about Sieg here, except tenfold.  Every single detail you could imagin (harhar) is on this figure. From his sculpt, to the paint gradients, to every little feather and frill, it’s here. The figure is crafted in such a way to where, despite the extreme decor, his articulation isn’t particularly hindered in the slightest.

He comes with an extra set of hands (Punchy Hands) as well as a right hand to hold his tea cup, which he also comes with, as well as the plate to set it on.  He may lack accessories, but man does this figure make up for it in terms of overall sculpt, you can’t get much more detailed than this. I can’t really recommend Sieg here enough. If you are a fan of Den-O in the slightest, this is a definite must get. My camera does not do this figure justice, so please check out the photo gallery!
